TUF - Watson vs. Main

Tonight’s episode of my favouritest show, The Ultimate Fighter, featured Mr. Andy Main vs. Mr. Kyle Watson…

To start off…Am I the only one who likes Alex Caceres?...i.e. Bruce Leeroy. Every season someone has to take on the challenge of being the house shit disturber…Alex did just that. You can’t hate the kid for being cocky and dramatic because it’s funny as all hell. Trust me, if they all got along, you’d quickly pick up the remote and change the channel…and it’s Wednesday night…Top Model replays at 10pm (tonight’s episode had a wrestling photoshoot. At least it was partially relevant?). So…Boring TUF episode or Top Model? Take your pick because that’s what your choices would be if characters like Alex…erm, Bruce Leeroy, didn’t exist.

I’m pretty sure that John Danaher is the most philosophical Jiu Jitsu instructor on the planet. Everytime he speaks, I blink. lol.

Moving on…How can anyone NOT like GSP? He's so cute. Koscheck pointed out Georges’ new parking spot…which is next to a fire hydrant so he will always have one car door free, after last week’s antics. "I don't want you to prank me again." Georges said in his cute little Frenchie accent. Women around the world melted in that moment. And I'm all for the bad boys...trust me...but Georges is definitely a nice guy who doesn't finish last in my books.

Then…Kos poked fun at Georges by showing up at the gym wearing some tight shorts like Georges likes to fight in… “It’s not my ting watching a guy in his underwear.” Georges said to Kos. In no way am I hating on Georges but I thought it was ridiculously funny. I loved the war between Forrest and Rampage in season 7. I partially wish that Georges would turn immature for an episode and get Koscheck back in true TUF fashion. A door MUST come off this season…Or at least a hole in the wall? Please?

I’d like to say right now…I love GSP, I want to be Team GSP ---Canada Represent--- but I feel like I’m Team Individual. I love me some Andy Main and Nam Phan…It’s hardly their fault that Kos picked them.

Camera pans to a gym shot…Is anyone else thinking Matt Riddle when Andy Main has his back to the camera? They clearly both have the same hair stylist. I recall Riddle rocking a similar style at 111.

Back to the episode…Red team still in control, Georges announces the next fight: Watson vs. Main. Weigh-ins happen: “Oh. My. God. His butt’s so big.” -Kos on Kyle Watson’s ass. I’m feeling a little concerned that this episode seems to be about Kos noticing dude’s asses and commenting on GSP’s junk while wearing tight shorts…lol.

Josh gave his team a little pep-talk and talked about not wanting to lose, “especially [to] a French guy.” Well, there goes whatever French fans he had left. Dude was HATED in Montreal at UFC113. Unless you were there, I can’t explain how bad the crowd boo’d him.

So, Main and Watson got to slug it out…Halfway through the 2nd round Andy gave up his back…I screamed at the television… “NO! WHY?! NO! TURN! FACE HIM! TURN!” Needless to say… TEAM GSP – 3… TEAM KOS – 0…TEAM INDIVIDUALS…i.e. TEAM TEE – 2. At least I’m in second place! =)

Drama, coach banter (pretty one…erm…kos-sided), decent fight… All-in-all. Good episode. Lived up to true TUF fashion.

Episode Sidenote: The Tapout pants that Andy was wearing when he was warming up before the fight…….I want them!!!
