When you have Joe Rogan calling out the judges live on Spike TV during the event, you know things are bad. In the first televised fight on the Ultimate Fighter season 12 finale Nam Phan took on mega brawler Leonard Garcia.
The fight lived up to the hype and was a very entertaining 15 minute slugfest, but when is Garcia not in a slugfest. The “said” Robbery occurred when the judges handed in their scorecards, ruling in favor of Leonard Garcia via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28). Everyone in attendance including Garcia was flooded when the decision was read.
